Coastal Calm Counseling grew out of my own experience of learning to slow down and live more intentionally. Spending time near the water, taking daily walks, and practicing being present in my own life changed the way I see the world and the way I approach therapy. I realized how powerful it is to have a space where you can breathe, reflect, and just be yourself.
In my work, I have seen how important it is for people to have somewhere that feels safe and steady. Not everyone has access to calm environments in their daily lives, so I wanted to create something that offers that feeling, even if only for an hour at a time. A place where you can set things down, talk openly, and focus on what you need.
The coast feels like a good reflection of the kind of work I value. It is steady, changing, resilient, and honest. That is what I aim to bring into my practice, real connection, simple language, and a supportive space where you can show up as you are.
Coastal Calm is built on authenticity, presence, and the belief that therapy should feel like a pause in your week, a place to reconnect and move forward at your own pace.
